If you understand that all it is, is a parking lot with hookups and nothing special it's pretty good. You have access to all the same stuff if you booked a room at GSR. The biggest gripe I have is all the goat head thorns that litter the gravel areas. You cannot go outside without getting a least a few stuck in your shoes.

We visited in June 2020, so Covid procedures were in place throughout the casino, including all bars and restaurants - although almost no guests and only a few staff wore masks. Many casino/restaurant staff were actively rude or passively disengaged, which isn't a direct problem with the RV park, but it does mean I won't be returning.

We stayed here 3 nights after going to burning man to unwind and lay by the pool. I did not know that the RV next to us was going to be used as the rental return office for every burning man rented rv coming in at all hours. It was hectic and noisy.
The site was a in the middle of a concrete/pavement parking lot with these very picky thorned plants that got stuck in my feet as well as the dogs paws.
It was an extremely log walk to the pool.
We stayed here as it was easy and dog friendly, it is no longer pet friendly so we would not stay here again. There has to be a prettier/nicer place to stay for less in Reno - this was very expensive due to it was Labor Day and Post Burning Man holiday.

I wasn't impressed with this spot but it was convenient for hanging with friends who were staying at the resort. Full hookups and paved pads that were almost level. The front desk staff were friendly but not very on top of things. I tried to apply a Good Sam discount (they didn't advertise this on their booking site) at checkout and they weren't able to successfully complete it. Then they told me they couldn't apply it for Saturday night because they only offer a military discount for Friday and Saturday nights. I told them I was military and then that threw a whole other wrench in their system. I told them I'd call to settle it because it was taking forever.
Beware, you also have to pay the resort fees and taxes (~$20/day). This gets you access to the gym and the pool at the hotel.
I didn't like that the facility wasn't gated. Anyone from the hotel or the street could just wander through.
Free hotel wifi, but my phone had a lot of trouble staying connected. Worked better on my laptop.
If you book online, make sure to try to get the Good Sam/military discount then. Better yet, just call to reserve so you can get the best rate when you book rather than try to do it after.

For what it's worth, I did talk to the guy that's in charge of the park and he said they are getting ready to spend a ton of money on upgrading the park. I suggested they fix the fence and make it more secure along the Truckee River that runs parallel to the park. He said that was part of the plan. Also, the park is dark at night and the street lights need to be fixed. This he said is also going to be addressed.

We arrived at 4:00pm and found the office locked with no sign. The staff were walking around the park and didn't come back for 25 minutes. At check in, the printer was down so she the receipt and signs were hand written. We had pulled into a marked check-in parking spot but the office staff instructed us to do a U-turn that no truck with travel trailer could achieve and seemed put out that I said that I would drive down the road instead.
This park is in two separate sections. The section up front nearest the office, though not beautiful, was not bad. the back section, however, was horrific! We were one of only two or three rigs that were not horribly dilapicated long-term renters. I have attached photos to show what some of the rigs by us looked like. The dog in the rig next to us went after my 7 year old daughter but luckily reached the end of the chain (it was chained up and the end) before it reached my daughter. There was a pit bull running loose at one long-termer at the end of our row. Quite literally, there was an old fifth-wheel near us that had a piece of ply wood for a door! And, to top it off, I had something happen for the first time ever. One of the sewer lines at this site was completely blocked! You can imagine what happened when I pulled the dump valve. Luckily they had two connections here and the other one did work.
This was where we finished up a three-week trip. I had paid for two nights but left after one instead.

I originally planned to stay two nights but left after one. When I got there to check in, the person said that they didn't have enough sites because people haven't checked out when they were supposed to. So he offered a discount on a narrow site which I accepted since I don't have slides.
The site was covered with weeds which had what could best be described as pea-sized balls with thorns sticking out. We had to carry the dogs to the paved road since there is no way they could walk thru it. And we needed to take our shoes off on the door steps since the soles would be filled with the thorns and we didn't want to track them inside.
To top it off, the power kept kicking off all afternoon and well into the evening. There was no mention of that when I checked in though. They have major power issues there as it appeared that most sections of the park were impacted at one point or another. The office acted like this was a one-time occurrence, but my neighbors stated that they stayed there recently and also had power problems then.
If I ever decide to stay here again I will reserve a 50 amp pull thru. Those sites are better groomed with fresh gravel and hopefully the power will stay on.
