I was asked to leave. You have to have a room before you can park your RV in the lot.
The policy changed about a month ago.

You cannot sleep as the bass is so strong and disturbing, not sure how anyone even the hotel can sleep thru this!!! Waiting for office too open to get a refund and shorten our stay! I’m not being tortured thru this for another night!!! What are they thinking???!! A pool party that starts at 10pm with a DJ?! Obvious could care less about anyone other than those purchasing booze and staying up all night!

You have use of casino pool but it was super crowded. Lots of kids & drunk young adults. Staff was very nice. But at least in our area it’s just as parking lot. There was free internet, open access.

It was not the easiest to pull into and get to the office and we are only 33 feet. Full hookups and wifi were good.
I would probably stay again, just nothing special. If you have a Good Sams card you get a 10% discount.

Pros:
Great security -
RV park has a fence around it.
Casino security drives a van around to check on things - I think it is 24 hours a day.
Location - Good location in downtown Reno, close to the interstate.
Cons:
Expensive -
Final rate is double what is listed on booking sites due to obscene resort fee and taxes.
Rate can easily go over $100 per night, or as low as $60 per night weekday in the back section.
The only amenities are the pool and the store / office with ice, beer, etc.
Noise - Near the Reno airport runway so lots of airplane noise.
Hundreds of people drive by daily with mufflers that have been illegally removed / modified.
Trash - The entire casino has trash on the grounds.
The rv sites have cigarette butts in varying degrees of age.
The rv sites are not cleaned.

If you understand that all it is, is a parking lot with hookups and nothing special it's pretty good. You have access to all the same stuff if you booked a room at GSR. The biggest gripe I have is all the goat head thorns that litter the gravel areas. You cannot go outside without getting a least a few stuck in your shoes.

RV Park is fairly safe but it has very curvy, narrow turns inside RV Park that make it very difficult to get in and out. Check-in office also sells beer and the casino is only steps away. We visited in June 2020, so Covid procedures were in place throughout the casino, including all bars and restaurants - although almost no guests and only a few staff wore masks. Many casino/restaurant staff were actively rude or passively disengaged, which isn't a direct problem with the RV park, but it does mean I won't be returning.

We stayed here 3 nights after going to burning man to unwind and lay by the pool. I did not know that the RV next to us was going to be used as the rental return office for every burning man rented rv coming in at all hours. It was hectic and noisy.
The site was a in the middle of a concrete/pavement parking lot with these very picky thorned plants that got stuck in my feet as well as the dogs paws.
It was an extremely log walk to the pool.
We stayed here as it was easy and dog friendly, it is no longer pet friendly so we would not stay here again. There has to be a prettier/nicer place to stay for less in Reno - this was very expensive due to it was Labor Day and Post Burning Man holiday.

I wasn't impressed with this spot but it was convenient for hanging with friends who were staying at the resort. Full hookups and paved pads that were almost level. The front desk staff were friendly but not very on top of things. I tried to apply a Good Sam discount (they didn't advertise this on their booking site) at checkout and they weren't able to successfully complete it. Then they told me they couldn't apply it for Saturday night because they only offer a military discount for Friday and Saturday nights. I told them I was military and then that threw a whole other wrench in their system. I told them I'd call to settle it because it was taking forever.
Beware, you also have to pay the resort fees and taxes (~$20/day). This gets you access to the gym and the pool at the hotel.
I didn't like that the facility wasn't gated. Anyone from the hotel or the street could just wander through.
Free hotel wifi, but my phone had a lot of trouble staying connected. Worked better on my laptop.
If you book online, make sure to try to get the Good Sam/military discount then. Better yet, just call to reserve so you can get the best rate when you book rather than try to do it after.
