"No Shade, No Online Reservations "

No online reservation, no one answering phone, after numerous emails, I only had a tentative reservation. I gave up and went to Pilot Mountain State Park instead. I was also worried about baking with no shade.

"Sign Sign Everywhere A Sign."

I thought the place was a good value. Clean restrooms and shower. Neat grounds with pull thru sites. The only thing spoiling the stay was all the nasty signs. Do this, don’t do that, can’t you read the sign.

"Free and Convenient "

Called up cheerfully told I was welcome to park on the Chuck Cheese side. Town was jumping for a Wednesday in March. Felt safe, really appreciate Cracker Barrel.

"Close to town."

More scenic than the KOA we passed and 50 dollars cheaper. Enjoyed walking into town. This was a good re-supply stop. Enjoyed seeing the Capitol.

"Great Trails"

Very private sites. Water and great trails everywhere. Only have gravity flush toilets but very clean. I recommend hiking to the top of Mount Si.
