After having been on the road for several day and boondocking, this place was great! Large grassy spots with power and water. Dump station at the entrance. The office is located towards the middle of the park and you pay using an envelope. $25/night

Made this an overnight stop as we enjoy the small city parks. This fit our needs but we were disappointed to find the price had increased to $25 to camp. We are 13' 2" and came in from 7th ST. We cleared the entry by a couple of inches but didn't have much of anything to spare under the wires near the west shelter. If you're tall and want to avoid the height unknowns come in off of N 500 W ST and pull through the dump station which has no overhead. Only one section had water on in mid-May so we stayed there (near 500) and ended up on a 20A outlet. No issues with the grass holding us. Had to work around a bit to find a level spot but since there was only one other camper we parked diagonally across several "spots". Train came through once in the late morning and was less than 1/4 mile from park but wasn't too noisy. Verizon came and went, didn't get out the booster for only one night so don't know if that would have helped. ATT was OK. Playground was great for the kids with a newer wooden structure. We talked to another camper who frequents this place and he said park was staffed by local volunteers. Dump station is $10 if not camping. Would probably stay here again if we were traveling through, but wish they could have kept the nightly rate to $20 or under if you're not on one of the few 50A outlets.

This isn't a typical "campground". Rather, it's just well-manicured lawn within a park with myriad electrical outlets spread throughout the park. This isn't a typical "campground". Rather, it's just well-manicured lawn within a park with myriad electrical outlets spread throughout the park. Once you know this, you can camp anywhere there's an electrical outlet on a post that doesn't say "No Camping in this Area". Because this is rolling lawn, leveling will be an issue. Most spots are all 20a receptacles; however, there are a few 30a and 50a receptacles in the park. Spot A1 right behind the Fairground Office is a 50a spot; spots A2-43 beside the bathrooms and C1-17 by the west entrance are 30a. There are probably more if you look hard. There's an honor box for payment at the office building. Generally quiet, but the closer you get to Hwy 41 on the north end or the closer you get to the local road on the west side will produce some vehicle noise. Sewer dump at the west entrance. There don't seem to be any seasonal restrictions: There are no signs and no one bothered me in mid-November. Very clean, nice spot once you get past figuring out where you can park.

Arrived 7/7/20. All grass sites, first come first served, off paved road. Selfpay honner box by the office. No problem getting through the gate like someone else said in a review and campground road loops around. No problem for our 34’ towing a Jeep. Probably 40 sites orso. About 8 sites taken by RVs and tents. Initially looked like all sites have only 20 amp electric with water hookups nearby, but after talking to some “local longtimers” found out that there are a few 30 amp spots of you look around. Ultimately he showed us an open 50 amp spot near the office. Wondeful quiet night. Would stay another night if we were not headed west and hoping to be there in 2 days. Bathhouse near office. Beautiful new playground. Initially seemed like we would not have cell coverage, but signal came in after an hour orso. Watched antenna TV from Chicago news stations. Dumpstation on the way out.

Stayed in mid May. No other campers. Local folks very friendly and helpful. Rate is $15 per night for RVs. Pay on honor system at the pay box attached to the Festival Office. Restrooms and showers not so great. Nice stop off the beaten path.

We stoped here overnight on our way east. It’s located right off US 41 and N500W, which is a County road. The address of 123 W 5th is NOT the address of the park, but rather the address of the Town Hall. We weren’t sure we would fit under the archway where the entrance was, so we drove to 7th and turned onto the grass and drove across the grass to a level area beyond the dump station, which is just inside the entrance. There were 3 other campers here and one had occupants by evening. There are lots of spots but the electric available is only 110 so we payed $8 (electric is $15) and used our generator. Water spigots are also available. It was very peaceful - lots of birds chirping but otherwise very quiet. We couldn’t find a pay station so I just wrote a check to the Town of Earl Park and put it in the pay box for the dump station. There are lots of shade trees and a large playground and lots of grass. Quite nice for such a small town. There were no other amenities that we could see; there was a port-a-potty by the building behind the baseball diamond but we didn’t use it.
