They have a little wooden kids play set and a walking trail. The office lady was nice enough. This is a river park and it seems they rent kayaks during that season. We came through in march so it was not busy at all. It seemed to be a very clean park and safe place to stop. We did not use the bathrooms. It is worth noting that during the day state convicts on work release work there. I would still stop there passing through. Cell service was fine for att. The front sites were fairly level large concrete pads. Big rigs could fit as sites seemed pretty long. Our 32 foot rv plus truck fit without unhooking with a little to spare.

Needed a place to spend the night traveling. Called and they said just show up. Got in about 3:00 on a Sunday. All sites seem to have long stay rentals except for three back in. I would stay here again for a night if all that is left in the area. You will hear a train now and then.

Small RV park right on a river (water park) where you can rent canoes. Managed by national state and local resources. Sites are close together. There are 12 in front right in a tall pine treed area and there is an overflow lot in back, which is where we stayed. There’s a walking trail, playground for kids and several picnic tables with a view of the river. Nice overnight stop. We called ahead, and was told 1 spot left and to go ahead and park, pay in morning. There is also a honor drop box for after hours. 50/30/20 amp, water and sewer. Cement pads in front, paved lot in back. Restroom with shower. No pull through. Easy access near US Highway 49.
