We stayed here in a great spot under the trees, which helped to keep us cool! Our site had plenty of room for our 38' coach and toad. The staff was great and was always driving a cart around to make sure everything looked good and if anyone needed anything. On Saturdays they have coffee and muffins in the morning and live music, hot dogs and s'mores in the evening. So much fun! They had walking trails right off the campground. They gave you a great area map when you checked in that proved very useful. I am sure we would not have found some of these amazing places without it. We were also 30 minutes to Crater Lake, an easy drive.

From the moment we arrived to the time we left, we were beyond impressed. We arrived on a Thursday around 5pm. Bob met us at the front entrance to go over paperwork and then brought us to our spot. He kindly helped us back in, he was so supportive! The spot is paved and pretty level. Nice and long, lots of space! Full hook ups worked perfectly! No issues. Free wifi worked without any difficulties, some slow times now and then, but we’re used to that at home! Cell service was nonexistent, but that was part of the appeal of getting away! Nice and light plastic picnic tables made it easy to move them and clean up! Mature trees between sites. Didn’t feel packed in at all. Bathrooms were amazing!! One of the best we’ve ever seen! Clean, fresh smelling. Warm on rainy days. Well stocked. Spacious showers(2) with plenty of privacy. Toilets even had lids!
Saturday nights there’s a gathering in the center around the fire. Food, fun, and laughter. They had live music, too! 10/10…would love to stay here again!!

The staff and camp hosts were the best. They had social events on the weekend. Great location for exploring the Upper Rogue. No cell service. Wifi was good in some sites not good in others. There is a full timer there named Johnny. Stay away from him and you will have a delightful time.

I was able to register 3 bars of AT&T LTE with an RV65 cell booster. My wife and I work full time from the road, using Zoom and Teams, so internet is a must. The park wifi is actually quite good if you can get a signal. The trees have grown over the years and create a lot of interference. If you need to work from the road, tell the office when you make your reservation so they can put you near an unobstructed repeater. The town of Prospect has 5 water falls to explore, and other near by towns have plenty of hiking and water falls.

There is a short trail to a beautiful reservoir perfect for kayaking or swimming. Same trail also leads to a nice secluded part of the Rogue River, albeit access is to a small portion.
Check in is easy and staff was helpful. Across the street is the small town of Prospect with a few amenities such as store, post office, and pizza joint.
WiFi works great here!

The night we stayed there was a “concert” of violins, guitars and even a banjo. The camp hosts provided s’mores and hot dogs. After nearly a year and a half of no live music, it was nice to have some normalcy!

This is a really nice RV park right on HWY 62 and just 30 minutes to Crater Lake National Park.
The park hosts are helpful and provide a great map of the area.
Camp WiFi was surprisingly fast if you connect to the 5G, nothing on 2.4G. I was getting download speeds around 60-70mbps on 5G.

This was just an average experience for us. Treed area. Our site was tight with no room to enjoy outside. No satellite due to the trees. No activities due to COVID. Poor wifi and cell service. About 40 min to Crater Lake. We drove to Lost Lake to fish.

Very nice hosts. Hookup placement was a little difficult for our rig. WiFi was spotty and cell service was non-existent. Laundry is off-site. Site 4 did not have TV hookups.

When we arrived the hosts where very prompt to get us checked in and settled. Even though our spot was next to the main road it was very quiet. The camp hosts make sure that everyone is happy. Only complain was the strong rules regarding leashing our dogs. But we totally understood the policy.

I had high hopes for this place. I don’t know why they call it “crater lake RV” it’s almost an hour from the lake. It’s decently clean but the camp host situation is a bit much. Their seems to be residents at site 37 who let their very large dog poop around their site and don’t pick it up so the smell is constant. There is constantly people coming in to the park so if your near the entrance its very busy. They advertise a quick walk to the lake and river which it is but you have to be cautious at the river since your down stream from the dam and they raise the water at anytime apparently and the lake doesn’t have much shore line. All in all I will never camp in another RV Park after this one.
