This place is a hidden gem! Its now run by the county, no longer state. 200 camp sites. The A, B, and C loops all have 30/20 amp and water. D loop is dry camping. No sewer but there is a dump station at the entrance.
All sites are well spaced out. Walking paths and 2 playgrounds.
Easy drive to Crater Lake NP.

There are flush restrooms but we never used them. We were hooked to 30 amp power and water. Very nice place

“Spacious Campground ”
Reviewed 7/23/2021
This campground is spacious to fit up to 3 tents. Our 30ft trailer fit in nicely. Most spots have shade and some don’t. It has it all, bike paths, store, cafe, boat, pontoon, paddle boards and kayaks rentals.

Diamond lake is nice not to far to go explore. Mill creek falls is pretty it's towards a little town of Prospect. The Trophy room is a Bar & grill with wifi so we would go there to check email.
Our campsite was so big we couldn't believe it. You could see the lake in a distance and there's a trail behind the site along the lake. The playground was behind the site we were in, so take that into consideration. There was a big red cedar. There are some great sites away from the playground, several loops for camping. We had water & electric and it has a dump station.
The lake was good for Kayaking and boating, and fishing.

Stayed here in our 42 ft 5th wheel in September. Not packed, but mid summer could require reservations. Plenty of big rig sites, but not all. Very large park. Tons of hiking and bike riding. Marina to Lost creek lake. Fenced in dog park. Half hour to Crater Lake National Park. We had 4 bars of 4G LTE with At&t. Deer everywhere!

Great park with a huuuuuuge lake, solid 30A and water, dump, 2 newer playgrounds, and great staff. AT&T was solid (-102dB) and Verizon was roaming. Will visit again since our stay was cut short by nearby wildfires. Something to watch for in this area when booking.

Bathrooms were heated and the showers were awesome - strong shower heads, private stalls/changing areas. Several stalls which was nice. The ranger told us they had just changed their reservation system 9/2015) - so if you are a walk in like we were, check what you might have read elsewhere about pulling up to any site with a "one night only" (or such) sign, as there are two versions of this sign now and even the ranger was figuring out the new system.
The area/park was kind of "meh" for our purposes. We had a couple of bars of AT&T and caught up on some projects-the trails were almost too tame/well groomed and the reservoir was very low. It was pretty, but felt kind of like an suburban park setting (complete with water sprinklers that, inexplicably, were on during our entire stay). The nearby marina store was very slim pickings, but they did have milk which is what I needed. We left after one day and headed to Crater Lake.

Stayed here for 4 nights over the the 4th of July, 2015 with our Airstream. Easy access and check in (we had reservations)...nobody at the booth, but the ranger showed up with our tag as we were setting up. Nice spacious sites with power and water on the B Loop. Most sites are 30 amp but beware that some are only 20 amp. If you want to run a 13,500 or 15,000 BTU AC you need a 30 amp. No sewer at the campsite, but a gray water dump was right there and there was also a full dump station at the campground. They were having a heatwave so very hot daytime temps at about 100 degrees, nighttime lows in the high 60's. Camp hosts and rangers were very friendly.
Being the 4th of July, the kids in the camp decorated their bikes and had a small parade. There was also a local banjo player that came to the amphitheater and sang some songs in the evening. Lots of trails and bike paths. We went on a hike and picked a bunch of blackberries and made some blackberry compote to put on some ice cream.
Due to drought, the lake was down about 45 feet from capacity. It was accessible by a very steep trail from the campsite and no beach to speak of. Lots of other areas nearby to access the river and lake though. There is a very small store at the marina and a store in Prospect, but the nearest market of any size is in Shady Cove.
An easy 45 minute drive to Crater Lake and about the same to Medford.
