Easy to get to in pretty much any car, but I don’t think a large RV would fit. There was however a smaller RV here. The only downsides are that the spots are kinda close together, and you can hear the road, tho it’s not a super busy road especially at night. You can also hear a train here and there. Overall awesome spot and would definitely recommend!

We stayed in early October and had no problem securing an empty site late afternoon and all sites were full overnight.

The drive into the campground is right off of route 200 and onto a narrow, bumping, dirt road surrounded by trees. There is a section for "day use" and another section for "camping". The "day use" area is literally next to the water.

We stayed here in July. This was a cute well kept little campground that I really enjoyed. The only issue we had with it was the road coming in. There were a lot of potholes on the dirt road leading to the campsites and it took quite a bit of navigation to get around them but we went slow and had no major issues. The sites were nice, and we were lucky enough to get the second site in which fit our 30 ft bumper pull and truck perfect. It was surrounded by trees, had a nice picnic table and fire pit.
If you walk downhill less than five minutes you’ll get right to the water, there is one picnic table down there with a beautiful view of the sunset. If you go all the way down the road you’ll get to a boat ramp with a little dock and a rocky beach area.
Unfortunately we could not get service on our Verizon hot spot or att cell phones.
There was one vault toilet in the campground but we did not use us so I don’t know what state it’s in.

This is a 1930's CCC camp which has been well maintained, tho they could use with a couple of loads of gravel on the potholes.Very attractive setting with a boat dock as well as a covered picnic area for day use. This is a very wooded forest with hidden waterfalls and mountain streams so be sure and take your camera.
Cell reception on Verizon was poor so don't expect much at all.
