“Quiet, Clean, Level Paved Site, Backed up to Bull River”

Reviewed Aug 25, 2018

Overall Rating

This campsite was a bit buggy but it was right on the Bull River. We watched a fledgling bald eagle in the process of leaving the nest. It was very entertaining to watch the parent eagles force the newby away from their next and off to his/her own. The campground was not very busy, it was clean with a level site. A dump station was nearby for those chores. The Clark Fork river was next door and we were able to canoe on both rivers. The Montana fish were just as picky as their Idaho relatives and helped me continue to dry streak of no fish in the boat. There was a very convenient store down the road and a post office in Noxon nearby. We loved the quiet peaceful setting and beautiful Bull River.
