Great find! Roughly at the halfway point between Zion National Park and Salt Lake City. When you enter there is a gate that isn’t locked that can be easily open. However, we realized later that right beside it was a gateless entrance (to the right side of the gate). It’s Very flat with multiple areas to set up for the night. A large truck/camper was setup in the first area. There was room for one or two more vehicles but we decided to see if there was another area (we were car camping). Maybe 1/4mile further down another large flat area for multiple vehicles… even had fire pits from others. Beautiful view as the sun rose. Very close to I15 but wasn’t didn’t hear it. Would definitely stay here again!
Thanks for all of the previous messages. Very helpful!!

Someone dropped their truck here and took they quad 4wheelers up o the dirt road.
Other campers he Kydd place out too but left . Nice view of the mountains and pretty grassy dry landscape around . I15 traffic motto far but didn’t bother us.

“Perfect For An overnight Stop While Traveling”

This location had 3 sites that we saw. Didn’t travel further down. There are some ruts getting into the first site but manageable with F250 and 30ft TT. Fire ring there and enjoyed seeing the cattle on our site.
Being the first site the traffic from 15 was heard but tolerable.

We needed an easy, close to the freeway place to stop for one night. We had never boondocked before so we were a bit unsure what we were getting ourselves into but it turned out to be perfect. All the previous reviews helps us to know the gate might look locked but wasn't, stay to the left to avoid the large dips in the road, and where to go to set up camp. Thank you to all the previous Campendium folks who left those reviews - very helpful.

Moved in very carefully and proved to be right. Don't go beyond the first spot to the right (can be used by 2 or 3 parties easily) with a larger or low clearing MH, or without scouting the grounds with your tow car. Road seems to get rough, as people told us who came back from there and preferred to stay on that spot close to I15 together with us. Drive carefully and look for holes or soft spots (musk rats or other rodents). Only use if no rain is in the forecast. If in doubt, or when it is already dark upon arrival you might as well just stop on the frontage road close to the gate, I guess. Road is wide and nobody used it while we were there. Wide grassy area close by is great for walking your dog or hiking. Great views. Only some noise from the highway but steady.

We checked out this spot and it is a nice one. We couldn’t stay due to the low clearance of our class c. Trailer / fifth wheels should be fine.

Plenty of room to pull around with no backing up and could stay hooked up too. Fire pit in the middle of the field. Noise from freeway wasn’t bothersome at all. The road leading to the spot was so rarely traveled I even went for a 5 mile run along it the next morning and only one truck passed me. It’s labeled with “Fillmore wildlife management area” and has a pretty broken gate you have to open and close behind you.
