I would rate this site higher but for four things. The rate is now the same as local RV parks, there is no dump site, you need to go to the police station for a key for water and there is no bath room. I would rate this site higher but for four things. The rate is now the same as local RV parks, there is no dump site, you need to go to the police station for a key for water and there is no bath room. We were in site one, furthest from the road so it wasn’t close to the noisy highway. If you want to spend time visiting downtown with the shops, museum and local restaurants and are self contained then this would be a good place for you.

Electric and water hookups were excellent. Dump available. Level site.
We used part of the Center for group meals and get togethers.
Toured area attractions.
Very nice small town, away from the hubbub of metro Phoenix.

If you camp here ( well, park anyway ) you will be within walking distance of most things Wickenburg has to offer. Wickenburg is a big time horse town, so if you are not into all things Cowboy you may not be as happy. They have done a great job of revitalizing downtown and it is fun to walk around. If you camp here ( well, park anyway ) you will be within walking distance of most things Wickenburg has to offer. Wickenburg is a big time horse town, so if you are not into all things Cowboy you may not be as happy.
They have done a great job of revitalizing downtown and it is fun to walk around. The library is right next door with free internet, but when we were here they closed at 5pm which seemed a little early to us.
There is no Wal Mart in town which you may or may not enjoy, it’s only about an hour or so to Quartzite from here.
Have fun and enjoy the desert!

We were told by the community center staff that they do have metered sites, although you have to rent the whole facility for an event etc in order to stay the night. It is not for just anyone tonstay the night at.

5/21/20 - They don't allow single campers. Only a site for multiple campers at a time, right now that means 10 or fewer people total.
