Spent one nite here before heading to Phoenix. Nice dirt campground, great view from some sites. Even had corrals at some of the sites for horses. Very quiet. Would not recommend coming in there during monsoon season, the road in looks like it washes out frequently.

Since i work remotely the Verizon 4 bars of 5G is a big plus. Close to town. Have a self container tow camper with solar. Quiet here and sites have adequate space for privacy. Only down side is limit of 7 days in a 30 day period.

This place has easy access and is close to everything in Wickenburg. It was clean and quiet, but the spaces are very close to each other. Sign said we needed to pay $8 per night, so we did... but all you really get for that is a large bin for trash. This place has easy access and is close to everything in Wickenburg. It was clean and quiet, but the spaces are very close to each other. Sign said we needed to pay $8 per night, so we did... but all you really get for that is a large bin for trash. Since we were planning on staying in the area for 2 weeks, we looked here and found Vulture Peak about 7 miles west. Although Vulture Peak was at the end of town, we liked it better and it was FREE!

We needed a stop-over for a couple days, and this dry campground met all our needs. Easy access, many level sites, several dumpsters. Quiet and respectful guests when we were there. Cool view of the city at night.

Overall Rating
Great small campground up in the hills around Wickenburg and great for clear starry nights. Trash on site, no other services. Sites 1-4 look to be good for us pulling a 35' 5th wheel. Then there is a very deep dip/wash in the road in that MIGHT have been trouble for us, glad #1 was available.

Stayed here 7 days in our 42’ 5th wheel. We had a huge spot with fire pit and charcoal grill. We loved this spot! It was quiet, private had beautiful views of the city lights at night and gorgeous sunrise/sunsets. The town is quaint and has plenty of cute shops to poke around in! Stayed here 7 days in our 42’ 5th wheel. We had a huge spot with fire pit and charcoal grill. We loved this spot! It was quiet, private had beautiful views of the city lights at night and gorgeous sunrise/sunsets. The town is quaint and has plenty of cute shops to poke around in! You will also find statues around town with audio messages about the history of this cute cowboy town. We would definitely come back to this park!
There is a Chevron station. In town with a dump station, potable water and propane. We paid $10. Had no problem getting In and out with our big rig. They also have diesel fuel and good chicken if you’re hungry.! This was such a quiet and peaceful place to camp. Lots of birds too! Enjoy.
