Looking for an overnight spot along I-90. Not far off the interstate, clean restrooms showers. We stayed here on our way east and now stopping again on our way home. It’s off season and we don’t use hookups but there is electrical hookups if needed. Large spaces; hardly anyone here. Good Mexican food in town!

Nice grass, shade trees, our site level-no need to unhook. Very peaceful, though train tracks are nearby, but we enjoy trains and whistles (change of mind in morning?). The sites west of the rest rooms are 30A, east 15A.
Restrooms are aged, but better than outhouses.
Best to check Ritzville for any activities at the Rodeo area, or Fairgrounds area to make sure local events are not here. For instance, the Rodeo is on Labor Day, and a worker here said this is packed. Otherwise, availability is likely.

We were on our way home from a two week camping trip across the USA. It was Friday, July 1 of Fourth of July weekend. Needless to say that all of the campgrounds that we checked were already booked for the weekend. We had decided that we were just going to find someplace to Boondock for the night before continuing home. I came across the fairgrounds here in Ritzville Washington. The site said it was first come first serve. So I figured I would give it a shot before I just decided to stop at the rest area on Highway 395. To my surprise there was only two other campers here. They have 30 sites for RV with electrical and water hook ups. There is no dump here but there is one not far away if needed. They have bathrooms and free showers here on site. Campsites are on a very nice level grassy field with plenty of room. All sites are basically pull through! we would definitely stay here again if our travel brings us back through this area.
I will definitely recommend this location to anyone needing a clean comfortable quiet place to stay.
Well let’s just say relatively quiet. There are some trains that go by and they do honk their horn. Not really noticeable especially if you wear earplugs. To me it is definitely not a deal breaker.

The Fairgrounds are well-marked as you come into Ritzville. The camp hosts were very friendly and welcoming. However, they choose your spot upon arrival. My only (very minor complaint for a one night stay) is that even though there were only five campers and 30 sites, they put us all right next to each other by the showers and bathrooms. We did get put in a spot that provided us with an exceptionally easy exit the next day, and everyone was very quiet, so it all worked out.
The trains do pass by fairly closely, but I didn’t find them obnoxious. They blow their horn as they pass, so bring earplugs if that would bother you. Checks or cash only.

You check in with them before being assigned a space on a beautiful grass field. Spots are long but you will be packed together if things get busy. The open space to walk your dog (leashes required) or just take in the quaint little fair grounds make your stay super peaceful.
Trains go by often, but that never bothered us.
Tmobile was rock solid for Zoom and Slack here 20mbps down/ 5up, Verizon Prepaid was crowded and slow so I stayed on our Tmobile.
We will be back and this place has really set a high bar.

As we drove on Hwy 90, you gaze upon thousands of acres of wheat and alfalfa fields. Ritzville is known as a farming town offering fuel, groceries and eateries for the traveler and the fairgrounds provide an overnight stay for the weary. So after a long drive, we were thrilled to have such a wonderful and relaxing stop en route to the North Cascade National Forest. These fairgrounds offered by far the nicest rv park that we have ever stayed at.
The rv sites are located on the pristine and manicured lawns of the fairgrounds, providing each camper 20 or 30 amp power and water. There are no sewer hook ups and the closest dump is Loves Truck Stop in town. Sites can accommodate any big rig. The restrooms and showers are very clean and centralized within the park for easy access. Our hosts, Dick and Melinda, do an outstanding job each day caretaking the property, keeping the grounds immaculate, the lawns green and mowed and ensure all guests are checked in to their chosen site, whether in an rv or tent.
We love trains, so the noise did little to affect our stay.

This a perfect halfway point to PDX.
You park on nicely manicured lawn.
A little close together as the host put everyone next to each other. Could have spaced them every other site, but we were just there for the night, so it was ok.
As stated the trains make a frequent appearance. But did not bother us inside the coach. (Grandkids liked them)
We only stayed here for the hookups.
Normally we boondock each night.
But with a 1 and 3 year old, we enjoyed the power.
