Nicely maintained fairgrounds with green grass, super friendly camp host, quiet except for trains... Covid discount due to bathrooms and showers being closed.
Regarding cell phone service: AT&T was faster with two bars than Verizon with four.

Have stayed at many Fairgrounds. This is the nicest. Small size and low usage combined with good care taking makes for a nice green 'yard' for RV parking. Yes, it has trains. But I like trains.
One west bound monster came by on a very calm night at 4AM, being half asleep felt like trailer was on the tracks . . . but then the monster passed.

This was a convenient overnight stop on our way from the Seattle area toYellowstone, right off I 90. Pleasant camp host gave us a spot in the grass with some afternoon shade. Because of COVID, gave us discounted price of $20 for 30 amp and water, no sewer, since we couldn’t use restroom facilities. Have seen train but noise is hidden by the sound of our AC - 103 here today, HOT! Would definitely stop here again, serves our purposes just fine.

Nicely maintained park with water and 30 amp hookups. Beautiful lush grass, but...the trains! All I can surmise is that everyone at Burlington Northern HATES Ritzville, WA. I don't know who's ex-wife lives here, but these engineers lay on the horn from just before they hit town and all the way through town. Close all your windows and vents to get any sleep, because the trains run ALL night.

I loved my experience here. Great hosts and few people. During the summer months there are many more people. So many places to hike around and explore. Sheep across the way and a leash free area for dogs behind fairgrounds. Relaxing time if you don’t mind trains.

We called the fairgrounds number which was answered by a volunteer who told us there are no reservations, just stop by and the host will point you to a place. It’s rarely filled. Got here on a Thursday evening and we were one of two campers besides the body and some longer-term folks. Fabulous grassy grounds, lots of open spaces. Prepare for sun in the mid-morning to late afternoon. But as the perimeter trees cast long cool shadows as the sun wanes.
Great sheep and goats in the farm next door. A wonderful lively show, especially at sundown. Yes there are trains fairly close by. It’s a cool night but will probably sleep with the windows shut.
No sewage but does have water and electric 20/30/50.

We stopped here for an overnight on our way to the Rainer National Park area. The grounds were very well kept by the camp host couple. Our cost was for water and electric. We didn’t count the sites, but there looked to be 20+ of them, which were all on a very nice grassy area. There were bathrooms and showers available, but we did not use them. There are train tracks not far away with trains going by every so often, but the sound didn’t bother us. Our dog loved walking around the area with all of the grass and big shade trees. Verizon and AT&T both worked ok here. We were able to stream uninterrupted off our AT&T hotspot, but only with it boosted.

"Yes! Our camp host will be happy to help you!"
That's all we got. I sent another email asking how we get in touch with the camp host, and haven't received a response yet. We're going through Ritzville two nights from now. I guess we won't be staying here.

There are 22 hook-up sites with water and electric. Eight of the sites are twenty AMP only and are located under shade trees. Fourteen are 30 AMP. There is no dump at the campground. The restrooms and showers are located in an old building but are kept clean.
The campground is located near a train track and the trains go through frequently, but they did not bother us.
This is an excellent place to stop for an overnight or longer.
