The location was good, close to town and close to the lake. The lake was nice for swimming. The campground was dirty. Our site, #14 was powdery dirt so everything got filthy. The picnic table was dirty and so were the bathrooms. The campfire smoke was thick so not nice to go to sleep.

We pulled a 32 foot travel trailer to our site and we don’t know how we made it without hitting anything. The park is a one way road so no matter what site you pick, you’re gonna have to tow through the tight roads either coming in or going out. The sites are small but we got a pull through and backed the trailer into the exit side of the pull through and it worked out fine. We were in site 25. The lake is beautiful, water is clear and it’s walkable from the campsite. Sunsets are amazing and the camp hosts were very friendly.

Great place to camp. Was a bit expensive i my opinion but the bathhouse was well kept and had hot water.. Had to pay $3 for a shower after 28 for a tent site.

This is a very very tight campground. Like, if your rig is over 25 feet, just stay away. Out of the 30 spots, maybe 6 or 7 of them can fit a camper of any length. This is a very very tight campground. Like, if your rig is over 25 feet, just stay away. Out of the 30 spots, maybe 6 or 7 of them can fit a camper of any length. My camper is 25 feet long and it was the biggest in the campground. When I pulled up to my site, I almost laughed as there is no way I was going to fit. It took me about 6 attempts to get it in the site, and it was down to inches. Most everybody either was in a tent, or had a tent camper. A few had little 15-18 foot campers.
It is also very hilly terrain, half of the camp sites are up the side of a good sized hill. Making for some very awkward camp sites. No two sites were alike, very unconventional layout.
Foliage, foliage and more foliage. While it is nice to have shade and some privacy with nice green surroundings, this almost borders on solitary confinement. You can't take two steps off the beaten path, and you have the few feet surrounding your camper of open dirt and that is it. You can't see anything, you can't even see people walking by in the spot I was in. Nice for privacy but I would say it was too much privacy.
Okay, now the good stuff. Lots of trails everywhere, no beach per se, but it has water access and the water was shallow and great to play in. Really close to town, not quite walking distance (unless hiking over a mountain and going 3 miles one way is nothing to you). It had a dump station and the hosts were very nice and come around quite often.
Again, for smaller rigs, tent or truck camping, it is a pretty nice campground. If not almost too quiet or private.

A little rustic for a state park, 30 sites with dirt pads and no hookups. Reservations are recommended although we lucked out without one. Our site was site #13 and at first look we didn't really like it. It was a pull through site surrounded by foliage, so it looked a little too shady for our taste. But after settling in we liked it. It was secluded by the foliage and provided a nice sound barrier for our tunes. Right next to our site was a trail to the big rock overlook lakeside.
Amazing spot to watch the morning sun unfold with coffee, and once you maneuvered your way down to the water there were lots of little spots to go for a dip! Daredevils were even diving! Close to town and a great burger spot across from the state park entrance. Check it out!

This is a nice wooded campground within walking distance of Big Fork. The sunsets over the lake were amazing. There are a few pull thoughs for longer rigs like ours. On site water and dump station were nice to have. It's not an OHV campground, but as long as I drove our side x side slowly through the park they didn't mind. We were also able to ride it ATV into town for laundry and shopping - super convenient.
