Nice smallish campground with pull through and back in sites. Mine was a unlevel, but the others didn’t seem to be. No WiFi coverage in the campground area, only near the store/office area. Great location just 7 miles from the entrance to Lassen Volcanic park. The nearest town with gas is Chester about 20 miles away. No ATT service in the area. There is some Verizon service. I was able to get around 5mb/second in the campground.
vondur would stay here again

Nice primitive campground with FHU was OK, just OK. The sewer pipe was 6" too high, the pipe hole needs to be at ground level for easy flow, not 6" above around with a pipe sticking straight up. I didn't even dump because it's so messed up. And their park dump site was locked, with a rusty lock, so I never got to dump. Dumb. Also, what made our stay miserable was the smog in the campground, camp fire smoke! Since they allow camp fires, it really stinks up the campground and hard to breath for some folks. This issue is bad with a wind, which is often here. If you're down wind of a neighbor camp fire, you'll get sick. This campground is close to Lassen NP, 9mi away, which is why we chose it, but it was a bad choice IMO. I won't come back.
By the way, the campground is named 'The Village, Childs Meadow". I think they changed the name recently. https://thevillageatchildsmeadow.com/
