Entire campground appears to be first come, first serve. Around 50 spots all ranging in size. Anyone from a tent and camper van to around a 50 foot rig could fit. Potable water and restrooms on site. Allowed to gather dead and down wood for fires. Hosts were very friendly. Campground was quiet and peaceful. Two bars for Verizon LTE. Just enough to make calls and search. Wouldn’t be able to work here w a mobile hotspot.

Lots of pine trees and shade, asphalt roads and pads, plenty of sites for our 25' TT. Friendly campers. Restrooms are closed, but they have porta potties and pit toilets. Tables and fire pits, water spigots, garbage. Far enough from the road that there is little road noise. There is a creek next to the road. Camp is only about 15 miles from Lassen Volcanic National Park. Only negative is the nearest gas is in Chester, 34 miles away. The little town of mineral, just two miles away does have a cafe and small store, and a post office. It's a forest service campground, so 1/2 price with the senior card.

This campground is CLOSED. Due to the fires last year the USFS is low on man power. As of June 6, 2022 it is closed. Call their HQ before you go there to camp.
