Stayed one night after hiking a day in Zion and needed to be close for another day. Lots are a little close, but well kept slabs and nice pathways throughout the park. The laundry room was open later, which allowed us to do some much needed laundry! Staff was friendly and helpful! Would stay again!

We stayed here for 2 nights while visiting Zion. It’s about a 25-30 minute drive from this park to Zion so plan accordingly for entrance into the park. It is a beautiful spot though and very well maintained. We were in spot 164 on the back side of the property. It was fairly level and comfortable. WiFi was very strong a dependable.

We stayed here for one night after exploring Zion for the day, it was nice. The facilities were clean and the pool and atmosphere was fantastic! We would definitely recommend staying here.
The sites are close together, but it's a campground.

I was expecting a top rated 10 resort and found a resort in need of landscaping maintenance. Staff told us that our site had lush green grass that was watered on a daily basis and we could not put a welcome mat in front of our motorhome steps because we would kill the grass. The 3 sites we reserved for a family get together were full of weeds, dirt and foxtails and had not been watered in weeks. Staff treated us like fools. Site 20 has an extremely dangerous concrete border that is being uplifted by the tree in site. Our 7 year granddaughter tripped over this dangerous situation. Overall, Zion River Resort has much potential, but, in our opinion, is being mismanaged.

Very happy with my stay here. I booked it online a couple hours before I arrived. I got one of the last few spots available. My spot was level and paved. I took a shower which had a 5 minute intermission between each 7 minute weak spraying of water. Very nice check in progress. Campground appeared relatively new. Not sure what makes it a “Resort” other than the pool and the laundry. They did have a dozen cable stations and very good wireless internet service. Great place to start my day at Zion from.

We stayed 7 nights in a Premium Back-in Riverside FHU corner site - booked a year ahead with requested site not guaranteed. Easy access to the resort. Our site was gravel, but most are paved with paved roads throughout. Excellent facilities - laundry $2 wash/$2 dry with coin machine; hot tub and pool, convenience store, several dog runs, playground. We used a hotspot instead of camp wifi. 15 minutes to Zion. 15 minutes to Hurricane for groceries, gas and RV friendly car wash (Red Dirt). The resort is very well managed and maintained. Our friends stayed in Zion Canyon RV Springdale, closer to Zion but not as nice. A++ on location and facilities.

The employees are always working and keeping the grounds clean. Near Zion National Park and other locations. So much to do and see. Highly recommend this campground Only problem which is probably no fault of theirs is the cable is not the best, but that’s fine with us.

THE GOOD
Site: Clean pavement/cement site with grass living space, picnic table and fire pit.
Staff: Nice folks and helpful.
Location: 15 min to Zion NP. About an hour to Snow Canyon State Park. 5-10 min to gas. 15 min to groceries and restaurants.
Grounds: Clean and quiet. Well-maintained.
Cell: Verizon and AT&T worked well.
Wifi: Campground offers VERY GOOD streamable WiFi.
Facilities: Really nice full tiled bathrooms/shower. Laundry is good as well.
THE BAD:
Maybe the road noise might bother some folks but it really isn't terrible.
WORTH NOTING (not good or bad):
Showers: There is a 7 min timer for showers with a 5 min waiting period between showers. It is via a wall timer that operates the shower.

We arrived after dark and easily found our spot, it was level with plenty of room. The park is super clean and well kept. Always staff around tidying. We chose a back-in river spot and it was so peaceful. The laundry room was great. They do have showers, but they are timed, go for 7 minutes and you have to wait 5 minutes before turning them on again. We were super close to the park and town, easy enough to get groceries abs fuel. Our Starlink had some trouble with the mountains, but cell service was available. We would definitely stay here again!

“Would Like to Have Stayed Here”
noted 1/22/2023
Unfortunately never had a chance to stay. TRIED to make reservations on their website - got errors - didn't work. TRIED to email them - bad email address - didn't work. TRIED calling over two days - that was a joke. All those attempts made me decide I don't want to stay there and found someplace else.

Looks like they have a strict pet policy that's a big bummer for me:
"You are welcome to bring two pets per RV with the exception of Rottweilers or Pit Bulls. We will accept three small dogs if they are each under 20 pounds. We just ask that you extend every courtesy to those families camping without pets and be sure to keep your pets on a leash, pick up after them and please do not leave them unattended.
Unfortunately, we are unable to extend this courtesy to guests who are camping in our Tent sites, Cabins, Suite, Tent Trailers that are not hard sided, or RVs with canvas pop-outs/ups."
Looks like the pit bull stigma is alive and well :(
