We found this coming from Idaho. It was very pretty but could only get 1 night. The park hosts were very nice but the campground is a little tight and noise is higher than you would think. The dogs barking at each other was bad. The lake and area was very pretty.

We came on Saturday of Memorial weekend after calling Reservation.gov and being told no walk ons and nothing open. Went to West Shore and they gave us direct number for the park. Staff is excellent. The park is clean and quiet. View of the lake is fantastic and there are hiking trails right off of camping areas. Nice room between each campsite....

So Apple Maps let me down again…for some reason it sent me the wrong way. If you follow Ballaine Blvd, you’ll see it. It has two water fills one before the dump and one after and two lanes. Smells pretty bad, but it’s a dump so…. All in all it was free and it worked so I like it.
