It’s a drive to get to. But well worth it. This is a walk in camp ground. About 3/4 of a hike in from the parking area. Great level sites all around the lake. Plenty of shade

love the view lots of back roads to explore good fishing bring lots of beer and food because mt shasta take some time to drive to.you can walk across sacramento river check about snow before you go.
