My friend took me here to show me the view of mount Shasta. Took aerial video with my drone, when I seen the footage of two large open areas. I drove back and found this place. There is a site on top of the rode, but when you drive in on the gravel road ( My Hyundai accent made it) it really opens up. I was here in my 32' bounder. There are two huge open spaces. One when you first drive in. The other is down below, just follow the road. Both placed are level. The main road is above you, but the noise level is petty low.

“Beautiful but would be difficult for a bigger rig”

We scoped this out from our Jeep and I'm glad we did. It's a good, paved windy road up and the dispursed sites are gravel and pretty level. What a magnificent spot for a small trailer or tent camper. The views of the mountain are fantastic and there is privacy between spaces. T-Mobile has 2G here and our Verizon jetpack had reasonable speed. There might be one spot for a larger rig right next to the road. We decided not to stay.
