Thompson Chain of Lakes Designated Campsite 8

Thompson Chain of Lakes State Park offers some of the best wildlife viewing in northwest Montana. There are 83 designated campsites and 8 group campsites spread across the lakes, all require a fee for overnight camping. Campsites are rustic; there is no drinking water available. The access roads are primitive and not recommended for motor homes and large trailers. For large RV's there are 37 developed campsites at nearby Logan State Park, located on Middle Thompson Lake.
