This is a pretty nicely laid out park, but it is not great for larger rigs. We were fortunate that one of the camp hosts came to help us back into our site, A24, Handicap Accessible, right across from the restrooms. Most sites will not accommodate larger units, but there are a few that will. It is true, there is not much around and without a boat there isn't a lot to do. It is right on a major highway which makes it very accessible and very noisy. But having electricity available in a state park is a nice amenity. No wi-fi or cell service.

Loved the privacy, lots of trees. Sites are not suited to bigger travel trailers. Restrooms are clean. Small fee for showers and dumping. We will come back.

So this park was super non friendly to out of staters. We had to pay the camp fee plus a daily fee for being non resident. $36 dollars a night for electric only. Would have been ok if there was ANYTHING to do here. You are 42 miles from anything in either direction. They charge $3 for a six minute shower and trust me that is NOT long enough lol. The swimming area is extremely small and access to the lake is pretty much none unless you have a boat. We did find a place down the road where the dog could swim as they do not allow it here. The sites were extremely close together and we had to park our truck on the grass just to get it in and we still were cramped. They never said anything for four days and then the fifth and last day we were there a guy came around and said we couldn't park it there. The picnic tables are staked to the ground so you cant steal them???? So you can't move them at all. Our site was so unlevel we had to use THREE two by sixes and it still wasn't level. They charge you $5 to dump tanks on your way out as well. We couldn't wait to get out of here!

We were greeted upon arrival by the friendliest campground hosts on our journey across the US. We reserved a non-electric site with the hopes of snagging a walk-up electrical...and we were pleasantly surprised to get one! The sites are nestled under tall pines, cedars and firs and are gravel with a fire ring. A little bit of leveling required. Water available throughout the park. A beautiful, clear cool lake with a small swimming area and dock is located very near the sites. The restrooms we're very nice and clean. There is a $3 charge for the shower. All of the people that we encountered - campers and hosts we're very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay!

After being on a dirt road from Libby we were excited to get a spot for the night here. Nice lake and nice campground. Lucky for us water was just across the street
So we filled what we needed with our hose.

As a non-fisherman, not interested in the nice lake access, found the price high for only having 120VAC service. Main campground is near Hwy-2 with little to no noise barrier so traffic was very noticeable.

Plenty of lake access and trails to hike how ever none of the spots in the main campground have direct lake access. There are several satellite campgrounds to Logan that have just a few spots to 10-20 and those all have very nice lake access. The main campground is good for all size trailers, RV and 5th wheels. There is a bit of road noise at the main campground from HWY 2 but was not bothered by it much.
The satellite campgrounds are tight, and would say maybe 24-26 foot trailer would be ok in a few spots but it is pretty tight on some corners and getting in and out could prove difficult. We check out several of the other spots as well but chose to stay at main site, even though a few sites had much better lake access.
Lake is amazing, water is cool and gin clear, fishing was pretty good from what I experienced. Shore fishing is good in areas with a little looking there is plenty of shore fishing spots at upper, middle and lower Thompson lakes. Trout, Salmon, Bass, Northern Pike and Perch seem to be the main attraction. I caught good quality largemouth (2.5-3 lb range) and had a blast with the Pike. Caught several with the largest being about 12 lbs or so.
