Caution! Signs are posted ‘very rough road’. A dirt and dust narrow trail with no pullouts. After long bumpy drive to the site the campground pathways were deeply rutted. Site does not look cared for, did not stay.

I could get a little cell reception while standing on the main road.
This was a very pleasant spot and quite easy to find. Keep in mind the main road (and especially the side roads where the camp spots are) can be fairly rough, so low-clearance vehicles may have a tough time.

But if you want cell service, this area near the beginning of the road is by far the best choice. It's not the best cell service by any means. Both Verizon & AT&T fluctuated between usable and barely usable, but it's the best in the area.
This area is basically a large meadow with a 5-6 established camping spots in the middle and around the edges. We stayed there in July when the wildflowers were in bloom and it was simply gorgeous. With views of the Tetons and tons of trails for hiking and biking, we fell in love.
