Overall Rating
Only 3 of 8 sites occupied in early September. It just seems very ofd that the showers and flush toilets are up a hill about a half mile away? Fortunately, vault toilets reasonably clean.

Overall Rating
Stockdale is a great little find! $24 a night for electric and water, good shade, close to boat ramp, shower house and dump station. Depending on what road you take to get there you have about a mile of dirt road(from south or west) or quite a few miles of dirt road (from the north).

Large lake with shore of large limestone rocks & distant view of dam. Big RV friendly loop drive on hillside overlooking lake & boat ramp parking. Sites 1 & 7 pull-thru, others back-in, reasonably spaced, each with 50A/30A/20A, >100-psi-pressure water, lantern pole, grill, picnic table & fire pit.
Sites 1, 2, 3, & 12 have no shade, others have some to full shade. Sites 1 – 7 & 12 appear more level, others have significant pitch front-to-back. Over a dozen OTA TV channels. 5-bar Visible (Verizon) cell service.
Clean Vault toilets at boat ramp parking at bottom of hill. Camp host, 2 clean showers with flush toilets, and easy-access dump station with rinse hose 0.3 miles up main access road at 12575 Blue River Hills Road. (NOTE there is no signage for these amenities.)
Nearest services, shopping, restaurants, etc., are 17 miles south in Manhattan. Lake & boat ramp usage this Wed–Sun was very light. No swimming beach or playground nearby. Playground under construction at top of campground across road from site 7. Stayed June 9–13, 2021 in 38' motorhome with tow car.
