“Great Camping off of FR 751B”

Party of five. Two trailers. Dispersed camping for 4 days, 3 nights. Camped mid to end of the week. Thur-Sun. Mid week camping was quiet and relaxing. Once weekend traffic arrives it gets loud and is a RAZOR freeway, dust bowl. I would definitely suggest camping here weekdays and would pack it up once Friday comes.
Blue Ridge Reservoir is beautiful and has some decent fishing. Again avoid weekends and your experience will be wonderful. Worth the trip...

All up and down the 751 road has spots you can camp, or dirt roads that take you further in the forest to free sites. Summer is crowded. Not sure how the Tinder fire affected the area but we're going back next month. There's plenty of room and you can have as much or as little privacy as you want. It's 2-3 miles from the reservoir which expanded their parking and boat launch.
There's plenty of shade trees available, so it stays cool. Better to arrive in daylight so you can see where you're driving. Some of the dirt roads are better than others, so you should scout it out. Some are right off of 751, so you could take a larger rig.
Be careful during monsoon season as rain can make it muddy and hard to get out.

“Closed for Season”
noted 1/18/2022
Searching for a place to stay in January. Higher Elevation, so the road was closed.
