Arrive late afternoon. Decided to stay on the gravel area just east of the main area entrance. Located just above nice grass park area we had river views on one side and train tracks on the other.
One warning. Our 3 year grandson who is with us had an encounter with a rattle snake that he almost ran over on the edge of the short green park grass an the adjoining tall dead grass. The snake coiled and he screamed. Grandma grabbed him and determined he had not been bitten. I went over and confirmed it was a good sized rattlesnake. Just be aware.
Can not comment on restrooms as we had our RV.

Three different paved lots to choose from. Wind surfers and fishermen abound. A variety of sketchy people roaming around at night. Safe? Eh

Great, quiet area along the shores of the mighty Columbia River.
When there we were with one other rig. Plenty of available space.
Large paved Loy by the boat ramp.
We will keep this one in our favorites.

BEWARE sprinklers may go off on you and you could be drenched by recycled poop water. We arrived on a Monday night and set up our tents on the grass. There where two other campers in tents here before us. At 11 PM we were all woken up to sprinklers spraying our tents with reclaimed water that smelt awful. There is no signage stating when the sprinklers go off so we had no idea we were about to be drenched. Thankfully we could at less shower after. We ended up moving our tent to the parking lot next to our car.
Update: check with the camp host for sprinkler shields.

We camped here on a Friday and Saturday night in June, so it was busy. Lots of kite surfers pulling in with class C's or truck campers. Lots of tent campers also. But we were able to arrive around 3pm and still find a spot in the parking lot, but along the grassy area. The people noise was no worse than a typical state campground -- quiet by 10p or 11p. The bathrooms were nice and clean and included a shower (fancy!). The beach access and swings were especially nice for the kids. There is some train noise, but just engines -- no blaring horns. I normally don't like camping so close to other people, but the views, beach, and facilities made it worth it.
Two notes: 1) bring some levelers since the parking lot is on a slight grade 2) the closest town is 40 miles away. Make sure your kids don't lock your keys in your vehicle because you'll be waiting awhile (yes, that happened)

“Clarification on Water”
noted 9/8/2021
One very misinformed camper complained that they were woken up by "poop" water in the middle of the night because the sprinklers came on.
I just wanted to clarify that the water coming out of the sprinklers is from the same water that the drinking water comes out of. The only difference is that the drinking water is ran through a simple disinfection system to maintain clean and safe drinking water. The sprinkler water is just well water and not the "poop" water that the one misinformed camper assumed it was.
The water at the park is tested monthly to ensure that it is safe for consumption and if it is not then there is either a boil water notice put in place or the bathrooms are closed.
If you have questions about this park there are Park Rangers that go through on weekends to check on people, or you can get onto the official website.
