“Beautiful park, lots of trees around sites. ”

30/15amp with water power sewer and fire pit. If you want to have a wood burning fire, you must purchase a per day permit, which may seem expensive until you find it includes all the firewood you want. You are not allowed to bring your own firewood, as thIs is how invasive pests get introduced. No charge if you bring a propane fire bowl.

Our site was beautiful, right beside the trailhead to the hot springs which was a short 2.5 km away. The springs open at 9am, and traffic is light until noon. Well worth checking out ($7.50 per person for entry and a locker) the downside of our site was it was too sloped both forward and to the road side for us to be able to level our rig. It is an older campground, so the roads are skinny with low hanging branches and it requires a watchful eye to navigate the corners.

As this is in a National Park, all sites must be “Bear Safe” which means putting away all bbqs, coolers, drink containers etc. Dogs must be on leash, and never left unattended or left tied up outside.

“Nice campground, close to town and lots of big horn sheep hanging around.”

Nice public campground. The G sites, where we stayed, are 30 amp electric only and kind of small but very quiet. No fire pits in the G loop either. All the other loops we saw had much larger sites and many had fire rings. From what I learned you have to obtain a fire permit to use them but the park provides all the free fire wood you want. It's in a large pile next to the dumpstation. The dumpstation is nice and clean with 3 stations and drinking water. The bathrooms in the G loop were very old and need of new paint inside but very clean and lots of water pressure and hot water. Several water spigots in the G loop as well. The entrance to Redstreak is just before the actual national park entrance just to the right of the town visitors center. There is also 1.5 mile trail from the campground to the Hot Springs pools. There are currently renovating the facilities but the pools are open. Looks like about a month or so before the snack bar and spa open back up. It's about $10 for a day pass to the pools. The cold pool has a diving board, big and small slide and life guards.
In order to access the campground or the park you must have a national parks pass. A one year for 2 people was just over $100 American.

There are alot of big horn sheep hanging around the campground entrance and in town so be careful when driving up the hill. The restaurants, gas stations, grocery store, etc are very close but pricey as would be expected in a tourist town. Far Out Rentals has most things you need to rent for outdoor activities and a decent shuttle service.
There is a lower priced grocery store called Nofrills in Inveremere about 30 minutes southwest of town. There is a Tim Hortons there too.
