I like areas that are less traveled. I fell in love immediately! The views were beautiful. Not a lot of people most of the day. No motor boats. Very relaxing. Definately should bring bear spray if not many folks around. It is bear country. It was wonderful to not see out of state ppl. With COVID trying to avoid as many as possible. Got to work a bit to get our large kayak down to water and all "stuff" we brought to hang out for day. Water is cooolllldd! Flies were a lil annoying.

“Tenters only, walk-in sites”

This camp is for tenters only. There is a central parking area with 6 walk-in campsites. One vault toilet and a metal rack to hang your food/trash/coolers as there are no bear boxes at the sites. Most of the sites are within about 50 yards of the parking area. There is a camp host on-site during the summer, not sure if this site is open for public use when there is no camp host but it could fit a good-sized RV if so.
The views of the lake are amazing and a favorite spot for locals to stop at for photos of the sunrise/sunset so expect to have a few folks trampling through camp if you stay here.
