We were car camping x 2. If you’re in a larger rig, you might like spot 23, which has a huge back yard of forest and it’s own small path to a beach.
I’m no expert, but I’d say your rig shouldn’t be over 30 feet total for that larger spot.
There’s a boat ramp in this loop, and plenty of bear boxes, which we eyed but eschewed without issue.
The next morning, we drove the Toyota another seven miles toward Crystal Lake to see what the camping was like. We saw trails but not much for camping—one gorgeous overlook that you should avoid on a windy day.
The four dirt miles into Lindbergh were no problem for my Dodge Ram van.
Very spotty cell service—as it should be.

As mentioned in other reviews, the campground is split, close to the lake versus more forested. It is a four mile drive in on a dirt road; dusty in the summer. Mosquitos in abundance through mid July although not as bad as Holland. Boat launch. Lindbergh is not as busy as Holland, also very scenic.

The additional sites all seemed to be surrounded in dense woods, which was awesome. Made for a quiet, enjoyable sleep.
The dirt road in from the highway is a good place to see a lot of deer.
At $0 a night, this was a great overnight spot.
Bring your mosquito spray though...
