Camped 10/26/22 (Wednesday). Regular price $15 ($7.50 Interagency Senior Pass price). It was a winding, beautiful drive to get here, especially in fall. The drive was about 13 miles from the Resaca exit on I-75. Sites come with fire ring w/grate, picnic table, lantern/trash hook. There is a nice, clean bathroom with flush toilets. A couple water spigots are in the campground.
We were all alone here; there was a spot for a camp host (not there during our stay). Pads are paved, long and skinny, some with trees on either side. Sites 1-4 are drive-in; the rest are in the loop. There are deep culverts beside the campground road, along with posts and large rocks. Because of this, some sites can be a bit tricky to back into.
We had no cell signal. Levelness - our site was level; others were not. Most sites are in full shade. Site 5 had some sun for the solar panels, and there was another site that was fairly open for sun. Site 5 was also fairly private. Sites have good spacing, but not totally private. There was one handicapped site near the bathroom, which has a ramp to the doors.
