Love the park and the boat dock as we have a boat and pontoon that we can leave on beach when we are here swimming is great john the care taker does pretty darn good clean bathrooms the only little problem is some of the seasonals like to complain about anything and everything they seem to think they own the campground we come out on w... more
Love the park and the boat dock as we have a boat and pontoon that we can leave on beach when we are here swimming is great john the care taker does pretty darn good clean bathrooms the only little problem is some of the seasonals like to complain about anything and everything they seem to think they own the campground we come out on weekends to relax and have a good time after a long week of work and it gets ruined by them

The view of the lake is beautiful. Quiet little park. Has many sites available even though you can see that there are lots of folks here for the season. The sites for non-seasonal could use a little work. You can see gravel laid down and lots of grass. Hard to find one real flat, but we managed. Bath house 2 years old. Well kept... more

Bath house 2 years old. Well kept and in good shape.
We are glad we found this, heading west. We had tried to stop at Porcupine State Park but the Union Bay campground was a mess. We were excited to find this place

Overall Rating
Nothing special other than you are closer here to where you want to be. The sites are grassy, clean, most likely the neighbor is a local and you won't go wrong. Probably not a destination spot unless you are up to the lake for their fantastic walleyes of hunting partridge or deer.
