Best Camping in Ontario

Late April - water not connected yet but dump station open!

I travelled here with a 35’ 5th wheel, long bed pickup and parked in site #111, a FHU, BI site for $63C /night with all fees. This campground is a combination of long term, seasonal and short-term sites. Roads and sites were gravel. It was easy to navigate and back right into the site. There was no shade for this site. Hookups were at the back...

This is a car only rest stop. Overnight parking is not advisable.

I have stayed here a few time going north to fish, 2020, 2021 but when I stopped June of 2023 it was posted "No Overnight parking" . I then went into Wawa and checked the welcome center and found it posted the same. I ended up parking at the truck stop south of town.

Have stayed here many times. Great hosts, small store with fishing and food supplies. Rest rooms and showers are clean, but not luxurious. Boat rentals and boat slip if you are towing. Enjoy fishing and exploring on the Ottawa river. Ask owners of locations of waterfalls.
