This park on the shores of Lake Simcoe is great for sunset viewing. The sites are quite large electric only. Water is available to fill your tank in a couple of spots. The dump station is by the entrance to the park. There is an off leash area for the pups Mosquitoes are vicious in the springtime, but come July. It is great camping. The town of...

"Beautiful Beach "

We camped 3 nights near the end of the season in mid-October. We were spoiled with the well laid out sites in the Woodland Campground in Sandbanks PP, but the site we had #29 was a pull through site was adequate space for our 30’ trailer with no slide outs. Driving through to get to the site was tight because the roads were narrow. The pole was...

I travelled here with a 35’ 5th wheel, long bed pickup and parked in site #70, a FHU, BI site for $45/night with all fees. The road through the park was gravel and the site was gravel and grass. This is a family owned campground with a mix of permanent, seasonal and temporary occupants. It was very quiet as school had not yet gotten out for the...

We stayed at Sandbanks in mid-October in the Woodlands Campground for 3 nights. Because it was late in the season, we chose a full sun site in order to stay warmer. The site, 608, was spacious and was easy to get our 30’ travel trailer into place. The one strange thing about the electric (30/20 amp) was that the pole for the site also...

"Campsites Right On Mighty Lake Nipigon"

No reservations and filled with seasonal motor campers, so come early to get a site if you are camping with a tent and there will be a few basic options. There is not much protection between sites for privacy and the remaining sites can be small and awkward, as well as noisy from generators and campers. Staff is friendly and will work with you...
