I travelled here with a 35’ 5th wheel, long bed pickup and parked in site #111, a FHU, BI site for $63C /night with all fees. This campground is a combination of long term, seasonal and short-term sites. Roads and sites were gravel. It was easy to navigate and back right into the site. There was no shade for this site. Hookups were at the back except for the sewer which was in the middle. I needed my long hose to reach the water. The campground is gated and has a salt water pool which was delighful! The free wifi gave me 28.6 mbps download speeds. I had 2 bars 5G with Verizon International. I didn’t check for OTA channels. The showers and toilets were over by the pool and were very clean. Laundry: 5 washers and dryers each, $2C/$1C respectfully. Pretty cheap relatively speaking. The site was too short for the rig and my truck so I had to park over by the office which wasn’t the best arrangement. The road by the park was pretty busy and this site is right by the road so there was lots of road noise. It did settle down after dark but it was very noticeable during the day. I took the train into Ottawa which was convenient. Make sure you park in the correct lot or you will get a ticket. I did the canal tour which was disappointing. You couldn’t really see much. Parliament Hill was beautiful. I would stay at this campground again.

“Friendly Staff And Great Site”

Overall Rating

We made reservations a few days before and as we drove up to the gate we were met by a friendly helpful staff member. She had everything and proceeded to escort us to our site. We were set up in minuets. Decided to stay another night and she took care of that right away. The site and services were excellent. Will be staying here any time we are in the area. Great experience
