Sweet little campground. Access to the Hoover Wilderness for hiking from camp. I hear it gets rowdy during hunting season, but Summer is nice. We typically avoid campgrounds, but this place is an exception. Cell service only on the hill above camp.

“Well-kept, large, multi-level campground”

Campground is 3-4 miles on a good dirt road off Hwy 395. It's a three-level campground with only a handful of sites (including #2 where I camped) in the first area. Up the hill, through some intimidating boulders in the road is the next section of sites. It's a nice roundabout of sites, but everyone is in filtered view of everyone else. Further up the hill is a very large, flat area that contains sites big enough for large RV's. Saw lots of them moving up there with their ATV's. (I chose not to camp up there because of running generators.)

Campground is dry, but with nice pit toilets. The CG sits along Molybdenum Creek. Nearby (walking distance) is the Little Walker River. It's fishable below the dirt road leading into the CG. Mountain lions and bears are reasonably common in the area.
