There are 14 RV sites with water and electric, 6 pull-through sites, and 8 back-in sites. There are 4 tent sites along the Latour Creek if that is more your style. There is a small gift / general store on site with goodies for everyone.
After turning off I-90 at Cataldo, ID, it is a two-mile paved drive followed by a 6-mile gravel and dirt road to the campground. The gravel and dirt road was well maintained with only a few potholes to avoid. As long as you do not mind getting your rig a little dirty, this campground is well worth the trip.

The shower had no hot water in the evening. The road in is very rough and crooked. It is the only way out of the narrow, dead-end canyon, and in case of fire or flood it would be hard to get out. We saw a moose by the road on the way out.

There is a small stream that provided a nice water sound. Bathrooms and shower area were clean.
Checked out is 2 pm snd the camp host was very nice.
Only challenge is the road from the highway to the campground is partially paved but mostly hard pan gravel. It was a dusty drive in and out. If in the area we will definitely stay again.

Lovely hosts (Carl and Janelle Morgan) who helped make our stay wonderful. Spotlessly clean vaulted toilet and immaculate grounds. Signs to get in are trixy at night so keep you eyes open.

The next morning I was greeted by one of the camp host who helped me with my stay. All of the staff and host were very friendly, warm, and welcoming. We stayed in site 88 which is right along side the creek, the sight was very spacious and very peaceful. This sight had electrical and water hook up plus a good view and area which kept the kids busy for hours. If we ever return to Idaho, we will definitely be staying here again. By the way, the park is ATV and UTV friendly which where you can take many paths and leave straight from the park. The park is a little off the beaten path but definitely worth the short dirt path drive.

We just returned from our first stay at the Lost Moose Campground and we loved it! The campground is located off of I-90, south of Cataldo, Idaho. The road is paved for the first 3 miles, then turns into a dirt road. There are 20 campsites available. Five of of them are tent only and the other 15 are suited for RV’s and Trailers. They are quite large and have power and water hook-ups. Some of the sites are on grass and others have gravel pads. They were pretty level which was nice! We had enough room at our site for our truck, trailer, car, a towing trailer and an UTV. The location is close to UTV riding trails and there are many miles of them all through the mountains! Inside the campgrounds there is a rocky creek with rushing water which was enjoyable to hang out next to. There is a vault toilet and two port a potties in the campground that are refreshed weekly. There is also a small store in the office with limited items for purchase. They also have two showers available that are close to the office. The owner and camp hosts were vey nice and we enjoyed visiting with them too. The campsite fills up on the weekends, but hardly anyone was there on Monday night. There were only 3 other campers there. We’ve already made reservations again for September of this year and we are looking forward to it! By the way, there is no cell service at the campground, but you can leave and head back to Cataldo for internet and cell service.

Extremely busy and small. Makes a better boat ramp and parking lot then a campground.
