One other vehicle came in towing a 27-foot trailer. It's a nice pine/fir forest and pretty little lake. No water or trash, but very clean vault toilets. No understory so not much privacy if a full campground, but sites are well-spaced. Not real dusty. There is a group camp area. I would think this campground gets full during rifle hunting season. We didn't need chocks to level our camper. There is a 3-mile round trip hike to another lake (Hart lake) with one nice view spot. There is a boat ramp and the lakeshore can easily be reached almost all the way around. No cell service with US Cellular.

If going in an RV I'd recommend staying to the right when coming into the campgrounds as most decent sized spaces tend to be easier to get into going that direction. There are a good 6 or 7 spaces that can accommodate larger RVs and even multiple RVs. I wouldn't however go here with anything larger than 28', especially if maneuvering skills are lacking.
There are about 5 toilets around the campground loop and a camp host who at this time is here Thursday through Monday. In addition there is one accessible spot as well as a pier for those in wheelchairs or can't get around well. It was torn down recently but is being rebuilt. I'd recommend visiting the forest service website for updates.
The fishing was wonderful. Mostly 12 to 15 inch rainbows but I also caught some around 2 lbs and 3 pounders are not uncommon.

A person recommended that we consider camping at Lofton Reservoir. She mentioned that it was a paved windy road of about 8 miles. It was not a road but an oversized bike path. We made it up to the Lake which was quite small and of a dirty color, and decided not to camp. The campground was in juniper trees with some pine trees. The campsites were pretty dusty and it looked like a lot of leveling would be necessary.
As we were headed down, pulling our 27’ trailer we encountered three other rigs coming up the paved path. Two of those were triple axles. This path had very few wide turnouts, and it was downright scary. We pulled off as much as we could and they literally missed clipping us by inches. I’ve never been so happy to see a regular two lane highway when we finally got off the “path.”
