We registered with a very friendly, helpful attendant. Our W/E site was directly in the water so we enjoyed a gorgeous sunset. Some people were swimming. Dogs are welcome. A wonderful location, near town.

The park is very green, there’s lots of space to move around, and the facilities are great. The washrooms are a good size, very clean and well-kept, and there’s a few covered eating areas that can be quite useful while camping. The campground sits along a nice beach that can be used for walking, resting, playing, and definitely swimming. We did all of these things and had a blast.
We loved how green the space was and the grass was very healthy and well maintained. It’s a nice change, as many campsites we visit aren’t so grassy. There’s also some wood benches along the beach that we spent some time in and enjoyed the view & sound of the water. If you have kids, there’s also a park for kids with swing-set and more.
The only downside for us was the size and closeness of campsites. They are quite small and there’s no separation from your neighbours, which could be an issue for some. Everyone in our area were quiet, so it wasn’t an issue, but we prefer having some space between campsites, hence the 4-star rating.
Overall though, this is a lovely place to spend some time while camping, especially if the weather is warm and sunny, which it was for us!

We had no services but in the premium site with ocean views.
Beach is walkable during low tide. Day use has area to swim.
No other area to walk but go to Seaside and do the boardwalk 3 miles one way or as far as you want to walk or bike.
Beat site premium unserviced is 68 which is huge and on the water.
We had 1-2 bars but it rarely loaded. We even tried our booster with not much luck.
They give you a daily use pass for the Wi-Fi free.

Absolutely beautiful sunsets and windsurfers right in front of your campground for entertainment. Very quite park with very respectful neighbors.
Just a few minutes from the small city of Summerside PEI, which is worth a visit.
Linkletter is a bit off the beaten track of tourist areas like Cavendish, but worth the visit if you like quieter and smaller parks. We loved it!!

We enjoyed our stay at this provincial park; it allowed us to explore PEI as well as enjoy the nice water views from the campground. Based upon our desired length of stay, I selected what appeared to be the best available site (which we enjoyed). Sites are a little closer than we would prefer, given there is no privacy between the sites. However, the sites are better spaced than at many campgrounds and most campers were quiet and respectful of their neighbors.
