It has 50 amp electric, water and sewer. AT&T was only 1 bar LTE, the park WIFI was great for streaming, and there were only 6 usable OTA channels. When checking in, we were given helpful information on what to do in the area. If you are coming from the east on Highway 30, make sure you go all the way through Astoria and then head south to the campground. Don’t let your GPS take you on the “San Francisco Hills” to the campground! Call the campground to give you detailed directions.

I found the staff kind, but the rule about not hanging out on the grass between your site and the waterway is a bit over the top in my opinion. The arial view on their website is an accurate representation of the C wing and how close your neighbors will be when 100% occupied. I was there in May and it was ~80% full. I had a Class B on my passenger side and a Class A on my drivers side. I spent my time on the rear deck and with the site angle at C3, didn't feel crowded by the neighbors.
I would opt to stay here again.

We have visited this RV park a few times over the years, including 2 visits in 2022 and the last visit in late summer 2022 was surprisingly disappointing. The host was unwelcoming and unhelpful to the point of being rude. The bathrooms, which are usually spotless, were dirty and smelled like urine and/or musty - depending on the time of day. The laundry is outrageously expensive - $20 for 4 loads, but the machines are clean and a couple are fairly new. There are only 2 washers and 2 dryers, so if you are doing lots of loads, expect to spend a few hours. You can only do laundry when the office is open as you need a key and must pay the host with cash or check - the machines are not coin operated. The food truck on the grounds has yummy fish and chips. The sites are pretty tight as you must share the electric/water posts on the driver's side and you will face your neighbor's patio door on the passenger side. Hopefully, you will get good neighbors because there is no privacy on either side. Motorhomes pull into the sites and trailers back in so you are alternating on the utility post. Not much else in the area with hook ups & laundry, so if that is what you need, this is the place.

Word of caution. If you are coming from the east on 30, don’t follow Google maps. It will take you on 8th street through the hills of Astoria (little San Francisco). Caused quite a bit of puckering in our 45 foot MH as we tried to get out of that sticky situation! Stay on 30 and go around the perimeter of Astoria. The park is pretty nice looking. Lots of green grass, trees and plants. And there is the 9 hole golf course which was undergoing some remodeling. Clubs and carts are available to rent, and the fees are reasonable. The staff is friendly, and check-in was pretty painless. No discounts during the summer – no club, weekly or monthly. They accept cash or check only. There was no deposit required when we made the reservation for our RV site. The park is located in an industrial type area, and you will hear some of the heavy machinery. It is also located near a crazy intersection between Youngs River Road and Business 101. There is traffic noise, jake brakes and other loud vehicles but it quieted down at night. The interior roads are paved, and the sites are gravel. Each site comes with a half picnic table (why?). There are no patios. The sites are fairly close and some very close as the utilities are in a space between them. Our neighbor had hooked his sewer up to ours so we had to stretch two hoses together to reach what should have been his. He apparently had been there a long time. Our fairly level site was a pull in with a view of the golf course out the front window. There was just enough room for the MH and toad. On our passenger side was some type of modular that someone lived in. Satellite is possible in some spots. We could not get any decent over the air channels. Verizon was 4g 3 bars. WII FI was actually pretty darn good, at least in our site. There is a tasty food cart within walking distance, and it ended up being too convenient! We had some cloudy, misty days and some sunny days. The temperature was pretty constant with highs around 70 and lows in the 50s. It is VERY windy!

The lady at the reservations line told me that they only take cash, although they take your cc number for a reservation. Then she told me that the rv park is not family friendly, and she would recommend us go elsewhere. No problem.

Nice campground. Good laundry, shower, restrooms. Sites level. We had FHU. Good wifi. Some sites a little close but by far not the tightest we’ve been in. Owners were fabulous people. Great place to eat on property. Best food we had in the area.

We overnighted here in Astoria after spending a week in the rainy woods at Pacific City....how nice to see the sky out of the RV windows! Our site was pulled right up to a big pond and there were lots of ducks and other birds to watch. Location was quiet, the sites were nice plenty big enough for our 40' class A, and traffic through the park was minimal. The only drawback was the price was more than we like to pay. If we come back this way I will check on an extended rate. Hope to be able to spend more time in Astoria as it is full of history.

Very nice campground, but we would HIGHLY recommend staying in the "C" loop for the best views and experience. The "A" & "B" loops are too close to the road and not near as pretty at the "C" loop.

This campground is not pet friendly. The owner agressively and cruelly kicked us off after she visually determined my dog is a pit bull. My dog is a rescue and I know her mother was a white boxer. If a dna test determines she has pit bull terrior I will proudly announce it. It should be noted the evening we arrived two dogs barked and pulled agressively towards us. My dog ignored them as we moved to avoid them. The following morning there was no indication they were asked to leave. The place my look nice on the outside but it is ugly on the inside. Be kind.
