Arrived around 7pm and there was plenty of spaces however lots of campers showed up by nighttime. There are signs all over about “no overnight camping” and “8hr parking only” but we never got a knock. Very nice temps in July and road noise is minimal at night.

Parked overnight, no one bothered me, was noisy with road noise and people coming and going. Pretty view to wake up to right on the river.

We stayed on a Saturday night in August and it was pretty busy but there were still spots left. It was pretty well-lit and we felt safe there. The bathrooms were meh but they got the job done.

Excellent for overnight stop when passing through the area. Astoria is right across the bridge. Felt very safe as 90% of the people there are coming or going also. Met a few other people boondocking and we all sat by the water and watched the sunset.

So this is a well traveled and heavy nightly used roadside rest stop/view area. It's actually part of the National Parks System and managed by the Washington State Transportation Department. So this is a well traveled and heavy nightly used roadside rest stop/view area. It's actually part of the National Parks System and managed by the Washington State Transportation Department. Great riverside views of the Columbia River and access from either direction is easy. It filled up last night with cars, trucks, rv's and semi's. Bathrooms were dirty and there is a bit of noise both from visitors and the adjacent roadway. It did quiet down as it got later into the evening. It's posted no camping with an 8 hour parking limit but it appears a couple vehicles might be staying here full time..

Yes the signs say No Overnight Parking. There were at least 10 different rigs overnight along with us though. Ours is 54 feet and we had no problem pulling in and finding a spot.

Has bathrooms. Fantastic view of the water. When we went there were probably about 8-9 other vans by the end of the night. Did not have a problem finding parking when we arrived around 7 PM.

We ended up parking at a near by grocery store. We asked the store associate of it was okay to park there. They said the store was okay with it and told us where to hide because the state of Oregon doesn’t allow it.

It’s a rest stop - clean bathroom- 8 hour stay limit. It’s got all the noise of a rest stop but a lovely pet area and picnic tables. Trees and all right next to ocean . We saw tons of pelicans, sea lions and even a couple of whales swam by. The sun set was beautiful !!! This is a great place to sleep in a pinch
