After checking three area campsites on a late Friday afternoon and non having anything available, Lax Lake was our fourth stop and they were able to accommodate, thank goodness. “Friendly Family-run Resort”

Overall Rating

Very nice place to stay with campsites right on a beautiful lake. They have showers and bathrooms and friendly chipmunks. Campsites have a fire ring and picnic table. We camped here 20 years ago and are glad to be back.

Overall Rating

Pretty primitive, no cell service but being directly on the lake with multiple docks more than makes for it. The log cabin office is really cool and the host is really friendly and laid back.
