Great location near the North Shore! We camped here for 3 nights in July of 2022 (just a bit behind in posting reviews...) and really liked it. I walked ahead of my husband (long Dodge truck with 22' trailer) to see which sites we could fit in - many were tight, smallish and / or had trees. #23 was nice - we got in fine and were level. There were only 3 or 4 sites open that we could have squeezed in to. All dry camping, with a weird water spigot by the road. Lots of mosquitos by the river, but beautiful! This was the perfect spot for us to explore the North Shore.

There are several long enough sites for big rigs here, although tall rigs will brush overhead branches. We ended up backing down the one way road a short distance into site19 instead of driving the loop.
We were on the highway side of the campground, so we definitely heard the road noise. We used this spot as a home base as we explored the North Shore. Half the campground filled up each night.
Picnic table, fire pit, dirt road and spurs, old style outhouses. Affordable compared to the other options in the area, but $17 felt a bit over priced for what you got.

There were a handful of sites that would fit our 38' fifth wheel. Luckily, one of them was open. Driving around the loop there are several branches that will scrape your RV. Lots of people coming and going all day long.

We got there on a Sunday afternoon and there were several sites available, but they all filled every night. Lots of people in and out. Some highway noise. Not a ton of big rig friendly sites, but we were at site 3 and had no issues fitting our 33 foot fifth wheel. Can’t beat the location! By the way, solar was tough here because most sites are completely shaded. Generators are allowed though during day hours.

Nice little campground tucked in pines next to the Baptism River. After having spent two nights in the Superior Forest, it felt like we were very close to our neighbors. We arrived at 2 pm on. Wednesday and there were only 3 sites left and they filled up fast. Cell reception was strong so able to touch base with family.

Out of 30 sites, there are only 3-4 which can accommodate a larger RV. The spring water tap was an excellent surprise. Most sites along the North Shore are booked long in advance or cost too much. If you are planning on coming on a weekend, I would recommend arriving on Thursday at the latest or Wednesday if you have a big rig.
