This site is open, however it is also in a burn area. It is right off the road, so noise and dust could be a problem. I would not suggest a big rig.
No cell coverage.

This is a cool spot for dispersed camping right near Chambers Lake. Getting there is pretty straight forward, but you can miss the road turning right off Highway 14 if you're not careful. Apparently there is more dispersed camping a bit further up 14 and turning left, but there was a gate locked when we went in early June so not sure what that's like.
It's popular on weekends, so get there early to get a good spot. The road in is very, very washboard and people do fly down it creating a lot of dust. The first few sites before you pass the lake are very tough to get into, but keep going! Once you pass the lake, there are plenty of options with reasonable clearance for camping. We found a pull-off spot that was right off the road but went far back, was large, and had a stream going through the back of it, a fire area, and a neat rocky area. Some spots to park are better than others, and some are more tucked away than others, but it's not tough to find a great view close to hiking trails.
In early June there were definitely a good amount of flies and mosquitoes.
Absolutely no Verizon or AT&T cell signal there or on most of the drive from the Fort Collins area (since you drive through Poudre Canyon).
Why Not Go? would stay here again
