Can anyone stay at Lackland FamCamp or do we have to be a veteran?

Overall Rating
We called ahead to see if there was room since Lackland operates without reservations. Unfortunately there wasn't any room and overflow was full as well. However, we were then offered to park in an empty dirt lot next to the campground while waiting for the next spot to open. While we were there for the week, no spots opened up, but we were fine for the week since we usually bookdock anyways. Dump and fresh water is onsite. Showers and bathhouse is free. Laundry is $1.50 for washing and $1.50 for drying.
Starlink gave us good speeds. Verizon and AT&T also gave us good service. We camped at Lackland AFB Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
