We arrived on a Friday afternoon and the fire ring had left over food in it and the garbage looked like it had not been picked up in a while. The trails could use to be mowed. We did enjoy the peace and quiet and did overlook the negatives and had a nice time hiking.

We arrived mid afternoon on a Saturday. It’s a little off the beaten path but not too far off the interstate. No one else here except someone fishing on a kayak. Nice and quiet with an idyllic view. Watched the Blue Heron, geese, ducks and hawks. Spending 2 nights. Would definitely stay here again. Loved the sounds of the birds and geese. Did hear some coyotes at night.

I stayed here with my 2 small dogs for an overnight. There was bagged trash by the receptacle, but hadn’t been picked up in a while. Not great but good for a free night. It did have a covered pavilion with a picnic table and a fire ring. Quiet. Had the place to myself.

It too tight for anything much larger but we managed to turn around with help from the one small truck camper who was kind enough to move his car so we could manage. Woke up to a beautiful private view of the pond and totally worth the small paved road to get here. If you’re thinking about stopping here definitely do it. The way out for us was on a nation scenic bypass and was so pretty.no cell service but starlink sure worked!

There's probably enough room here for two smaller campers. In the seven days we were here, there was at least one other camper per night (van, bike, car). It is pretty here, and the pond is larger than expected. There is a trail, which was a bit overgrown, but our dogs appreciated the exercise. There's also a pavilion with four picnic tables and a fire pit. Lots of fishermen have been coming and catching bass and catfish. There is a boat launch too. This site requires miles of gravel roads.

Camping next to a large pond surrounded by woodlands and no one but us. If we weren’t traveling, it would have been nice to stay here for a few days of peace and quiet.

Common sense tip: if you let your dog out, unattended, with no regard for its safety or the safety of others... and something happens to it, YOU are to blame.
Have some sense!
