Found this little gem of a State park while visiting Crater Lake for a bike ride! It’s 3 miles off the main road but clean, quaint and cozy. It has a beautiful little lake and is, apparently, a hot spot for kayakers during the day. Be sure to stop by and stay. It’s FCFS and only 12 spots. It was very remote, but well maintained, with a very pretty river alongside the campsite we stayed in. Walking trails for the dogs.
Susan would stay here again

We passed through Jackson F. Kimball looking for a place to stay after checking out the nearby Crater Lake, but unfortunately this campground isn't really large enough for RVs. There are about 10 sites, but most of these are for tent-camping. There's a pull-off lane on the right-hand side of the road just past the entrance/pay station where tent campers park their cars. This is separated from the actual campsites by a wooden guardrail. There are about 3 other sites on as you go around the loop that could probably fit a very small right. If you're in a tent, or have a Casita, small travel trailer, van, or a teardrop this place looks like a wonderful little spot.
If we could have stayed the night this it seems like it'd be a lot of fun, hence the three star rating.
