I stayed In lot 49, which is the last on the peninsula. Each site is large with power and water connections. Covered table as well. I had a tree covering my spot which as great for shade, but not great to charge my solar panel. Each and very site has a FANTASTIC view of the lake. And there’s great places to launch a boat. I was getting 5G on Verizon and LTE ON TMobile. Enough that surf the web and upload pics to Instagram. The sites where quiet except for a few ass*oles that thought it was important to blast their outside TV and radio till 10pm. Although they did stop at 10, and I couldn’t hear them at all, while in my trailer. After they left, I had the whole section to myself. I stayed from NOV 20-DEC 1, 2021. Overall, I would absolutely stay here again. The sites were big and I felt very safe as a solo traveler.

The ground beneath the tree doesn’t have much grass so it got muddy quickly. The lake view was beautiful and walks along the shore were very pleasant. The restrooms are family style with showers and were nice and clean. We didn’t have any issues with our hookups or using the dump station and I liked that grocery stores and restaurants were only 10 minutes away.

The free wifi would only connect the first night we were there and didn't work for the rest of our stay. The gatekeeper warned us to be careful about power usage, not using two air conditioners at once, for example. We were in the area to meet relatives for bluebonnet viewing, and this park was in a great location for that. The bathrooms are very old, but were basically clean. Became very crowded by Friday afternoon, with most campers fishing.

The main downside was that unfortunately we arrived right after they reopened from being flooded so the nearest restroom was shut down. We had to walk quite a ways to get to an operating restroom and upon arrival, the restroom was not pleasant to say the least.

The restrooms are terrible. I have been on the road for two years and never seen these restrooms to be so unclean and no toilet paper. They appear to have been cleaned for weeks. I will call the Corp of Engineers tomorrow. From previous experience, I have found them most of the time that these campgrounds to be clean.
If you do not have to use the rest rooms, then this a great place to relax and enjoy

Bathrooms are on the cleaner side of average for a natural campground. Will probably stay here again, especially for only $14/night.
