Maybe this was mentioned previously and I missed it, but be warned Mott is a 6 month park. They close from October to March. I suggest High View just down the road. Super nice attendant at the gate and same lake at Mott.

All cell providers have some coverage here that is usable, all above 3 and at or below 25 as the max. Usable for basic needs. Tmobile could be variable at times but generally 7-15. Verizon/Visible around 5-7 down and 13 up. Higher upload speeds than download speeds on a tower typically indicates some congestion on that provider, so Verizon may be somewhat congested around here. The weekends could be more busy, we were here on weekdays. Sprint/Calyx has a decent to good download speed (6-15) and around here is roaming on Tmobile for us, but the upload was very low (less than 1 Mbps, as low as .06). AT&T varied between 3-12 for download and at times had higher upload than download, so also may be somewhat congested here.
The bathrooms are very close to this site as well and they are decently modern and pretty clean. Staff seems to come each morning to clean them, I have seen them arrive around 6:45am.
Not many people here during the week. Some spaces (1&2 for instance) are quite close together but then there's large amounts of spaces between 2 and 3. Pick your site carefully from the map and find the one that meets your needs. We were surprised at how not busy this park is, a few days before memorial day. Many of the outlying North Texas parks on the north side are packed in like sardines even in February. This location seems like it doesn't get super busy until maybe full summertime, maybe then mostly on weekends.
Pretty lakeviews, concrete picnic tables under metal roofs at each site plus a fire pit. There are also day use picnic areas scattered around the park. This is a nice park with good views of/to the water. Our site was perfectly level side to side and we were able to setup front to back level pretty easily.
Their gate locks at 10pm and you can not get back in after that. No signs about it and if you arrive on certain days there is no attendant to let you know. For that reason and the fact that I got locked out one night due to this, I marked down their access rating quite a bit.
Overall, very good park.

Nice, quiet park with a lake swimming area and easy boating. Not a ton to do beyond your basic camp out activities, but still fun! Better maintained than the two closest campgrounds. Roads are better and campsites flatter.

We were in a loop with only one other camper. The other camping loop had several campers, but plenty of open spaces. There was a nice day use area. There were a number of sites that had damage and were closed. Numerous deep tire tracks as from heavy equipment made large areas muddy and marshy. The group pavilion was filthy and unkempt. Looking across the lake, you can see High View ACOE park, which was crowded. We had just spent 4 days at High View, and the difference in maintenance was obvious.
