Few campers here and very spread out. Area was relatively level. Good cell service and very quiet. Was approached by a fellow camper who advised us we left our lights on. Decent folks around! Noted a few loose dogs and this would have concerned me if we had dogs with us.

We set up camp at Hi Jolly on our first night at Quartzsite. Register with the camp host when entering, 14 days free camping. No amenities. We arrived a few days before the Big Tent RV Show in January. Hi Jolly is one of the smaller dispersed areas and is bordered on two sides by fairly deep washes. It was pretty packed, although folks were very friendly. We had excellent cell signal which was surprisingly reliable given the number of folks camped in the area. Hi Jolly is also considerably closer to town than some of the other dispersed camping areas.
We scouted several other dispersed camping areas the next day and moved to Plomosa Road. Way more space to spread out and better views there.
We had 2-3 bars of Verizon 4G

Stayed here during “Big Tent/RV show” and had plenty of options of places to park. Easy access off highway right at mile marker 112. Site we had was closer to the road, but pretty level and neighbors not too close. Road noise was not an issue. Registered with the host on-site upon arrival, received pass for 14 days. Like most of the reviews state, it is what it is. The camp host said this location holds up to 500 people. Expect to have neighbors pretty close by - hit or miss depending on how loud they are. Not much of a view - just desert. The roads are pretty easy getting in and the cell service is great.

We were to the north and had a good amount of privacy - a rarity in this area. We arrived the Thursday before the RV show. People flooded in 24 hours a day.
You can have quiet neighbors and you can have the dude with an open-box construction generator that runs all night. Thankfully, those people were far enough away that the noise from the generator was comparable to the road noise.
Take into consideration the wind direction when parking.
The area is great for groups. You can find large areas of flat ground. The end of the camping area has a highly visible sign and is a half-mile from the highway.
There is a cell tower across the highway and even with the RV show campers flooding the area we were still able to simultaneously use google meet for my three kids’ school without issue.

Easy access of the 95. Road and sites are gravel. Lots of open space and easy to level. Many rock fire rings already in place. Good Verizon signal. Able to talk, text and stream videos. Would definitely stay again.

Truly the highway noise is minimal. Great BLM host. Close to Quartzsite. Everyone seemed respectful of generator noise too

Close to town for propane at several stops, water also available as well as dump stations. Propane is averaging 3.29, water 6 to 25, dump 12 to 25 unless staying at an RV site.
