Pricey considering there was no water except for showers and bathrooms. Incredible views. Wonderful gate staff (lady from Hawaii). Yes gun range and race cars but only during the day. Had our choice of sites. Number 72 was incredible!!!!!
Wow paved pad, quarter showers, garbage, dump and water. The views are stunning. Worth the drive on paved tp get here
We went over cattle guard and found a good site up by the powerline
One bar service on cell sometimes
Only us and one other trailer. Incredible views
We went mountain biking and only saw one other person
Only one set of washrooms were available. Laundry was good. One dump station. Yes electric and water. Spot by lake. I personally loved all the ducks and geese. But duck and goose poop is a by product... lol
Passport America no longer accepted as...
The one huge good thing was the three wild turkeys. The campsites were nice. But so many bugs. One outhouse was disgusting. No cell service at all.
First night it was only us. Running water toilets. Pretty basic otherwise. Poor cell service. Incredible old trees, mega bunnies. A magical area... very little highway noise if any.
Take the road right before the paid Pilot Knob area.... if you enter area where it says no free camping you have gone a very short distance to far.
Go to the right and you will see a sign that says public land / camping is 1.6 miles...
Great spot. No odors when we were there. Easy to find.
Passport America is why we got the price we did. 18.50/night
Little noise. Huge spaces with extra parking. Beautiful swimming area. Laundry well priced but lots of broken dryers. Free wifi in common area.
