“Small Tucked Away Campground”

We camped here in early September, arrived Thursday night to only one other camper. Only hunters looked like they were camping or using the logging road. The sites are pretty small and not very level, was fine for our 21’ trailer but would’ve been tough for anything much bigger. The creek runs right through camp and we had cattle in our campsite every morning, which was fun for the kids. Sounds like it’s much busier during the peak months and mostly a hunting camp late season.

I arrived late on a Friday and the camp was almost full. Most of the parking sites are small back in gravel pads with lots of trees and brush. Most campers were in tents and only a couple of RV's during my visit. Larger RV's (maybe 20' max) would only fit in a couple of the sites and the curve of the camp loop could be a challenge for larger rigs. Grasshopper Creek runs through the middle of the camp. The camp isn't overused so there is lots of grass and brush growing throughout the area - lots of wild raspberries and thimbleberries if you happen by at the right time. The vegetation and creek create more privacy at each of the sites which was nice. There is a water pump and two pit toilets in camp, no garbage service.
